Surf Fishing @ Ft Fisher

Well at 08:00 there was 2 members of the Cape Fear Club and 4 of the Compass Pointe club there. The beach was empty until about 10am. I caught 1 Whitting and a 16" Flounder; Steve caught 1 whitting & the others were not on the board yet. The fish were caught on fishbites(Shrimp) and Squid Strips. The rig was a high low with a 3 to 4 oz. pyramid sinker. The tide was outgoing to the beginning of the incoming. Safe to say cast out to past the breakers and just slowly bring it in or dead stick. We all closed up about noon.
